Tagada — the new wines in reusable wine bottles

With Tagada – Hager, Tagada – Grüner Veltliner, and Tagada – Riesling, we’re introducing a new line of wines: approachable, easy-going, and invigorating.

Wines that are simply a joy to drink and yet clearly bear our signature style.

Anyone who knows Matthias knows that, for him, there’s usually a story behind a wine. In the case of the name Tagada, this story takes us straight back to his youth and the Vienna Prater. What remains from that time is, above all, a certain attitude toward life: joy, lightheartedness, and vitality.

A circle that spins. A circle that spins us around. Or a cycle that comes full circle.

The Reusable Cycle: The Equivalent of Driving a TAGADA 12 Times

Hager Tagada’s reusable wine bottle can be refilled at least twelve times, saving up to 90 percent in CO₂ emissions compared to a single-use bottle. For us at the winery, this means a potential reduction in CO₂ emissions of around 43 percent.

Instead of melting down bottles after a single use and producing new ones, they remain in the cycle: collect, rinse, refill. In principle, the following applies to private customers: The wine bottles can be returned to the place where they were purchased.
